Mudhead Reynolds' mail art call -- Imagine Blue Squirrels -- I believe the call may have ended in February, but Mudhead has been waiting patiently. The poem is the second one I wrote in the
fibonacci-a-day-2011 I'm posting on my other blog. It's the first time I've combined text and art for a mail art call. Quite satisfying.

Mary, thanks for you comment on my etegami post. Our house is undamaged, we are safe and well-- except for being heart sick. Our area never lost electricity or water. Phone service was out for a while, but that and also snail mail delivery are now back on track. (At least air mail is; not sure about surface mail.) xx
I'm so glad to hear you're well but understand how heartsick you must be. The catastrophic nature and the great losses and the questions that will never be answered -- oh, dear. Your artwork in response offers comfort through its beauty and your steadiness. Our hearts are with you.
