Mailart 365 / 22 and 23 Revised January 25

Mailart 365 / 22.  I sent this one to Val, who knows as well as I do that everybody needs a little Elvis, especially at Christmas.
Update January 25, 2011.  Oh, dear.  I didn't send it to Val.  I sent it to amazing artist Susan Lenz in Columbia, SC, who, as it happens, also needed a little Elvis.

Mailart 365 / 23.  This may be the prettiest of all.  Snowflake fabric with snowflakes added and the blue glass beads that are lovely in their own right.  I like this one a great deal, even though the beaded ones are more difficult to mail, requiring bubble wrap that always has to be tracked down.

Hi!
Thanks so very, very much for the unexpected joy of receiving a handmade postcard in my mailbox. I don't know who Val is....but I got the little bit of Elvis in my life....and my husband Steve is still laughing about it. He adores Elvis. Sometimes I'm a bit slow getting out of here on Sunday morning. He turns on "Elvis Only" on NPR and I'm OUT THE DOOR! This is a great project and a great postcard! Thank you so much!

That would be your same husband who loved my chicken card! He and I must be kindred souls as well! xo
